Shopping Options
There are two ways to shop with us.
In-Person Shopping
We have a beautiful, spacious store where students and their families can shop for school wardrobes. If you choose to visit in person, please keep these things in mind:
- Students are always welcome in our shop!
- If you plan to visit without the student, please be sure you know their current shoe and clothing sizes.
- We have dressing rooms to help students get the perfect fit.
Curbside Service
For families who would prefer a more flexible, low-contact option, we offer Curbside Service. Parents and caregivers can request a wardrobe, which will be thoughtfully selected and packaged by a Clothes To Kids representative for pick-up.
If you plan to request a wardrobe for Curbside pick-up, please be prepared to share the following information about each eligible student:
- Specific needs and special requests.
- First name, last name and date of birth.

Have Questions?
We’ve included answers to our most frequently asked questions here.
If you don’t find the answer to your question, please feel free to Contact Us – we are here to help!
When are your appointment times?
We typically offer shopping appointments Tuesday – Saturday each week. The store is sometimes open extra days to meet demand and accommodate emergencies, or may be closed for holidays, etc. Please call 720-379-4630 to speak with a Clothes To Kids representative and make an appointment. Walk-ins are not permitted.
What do I need to bring with me?
We do not require a referral or proof of qualification to shop! Please call us to make an appointment if the students in your household meet our Basic Eligibility Requirements listed above. No other paperwork is necessary.
Where are you located?
We are located at 2890 S. Colorado Blvd., Unit M-3, Denver, CO 80222. The store is in the same shopping center as Sprouts and Walgreens. Click here for a Map and Directions.
Do my kids need to shop with me?
If possible, we recommended that children and youth come for the appointment so that they can choose clothing that they like, but it isn’t required. Dressing rooms are provided for students to try on clothing. A small play area with toys is available to help entertain young children while parents shop, but we kindly ask families to closely supervise their children during the appointment.
Can someone other than a parent/guardian shop for a student?
Yes! Family members other than a parent/guardian or representatives from a referring agency can bring students to shop, or shop on the family’s behalf. Examples of people who can bring a student to shop include a court appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteer, a Guardian ad litem (GAL), a child-protection worker, a mentor or a representative from a school, human service agency, shelter, hospital, clinic or place of worship. Referring agencies and family members should always obtain permission from a parent/guardian before shopping on behalf of a student.
How much clothing will kids get?
Each student receives 5 tops, 4 bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts or dresses), 1 additional dress or skirt (optional), 1 jacket, 1 pair of shoes, 1 bra (optional) and 5 pairs each of new underwear and socks. Volunteer shopping assistants work with families to help them find complete wardrobes for each child. Extra items, such as pajamas, belts, hats, jewelry, winter accessories, school supplies, books and toys may also be available. Wardrobe items may not be substituted.
What if the clothes I get my kids don’t fit?
Exchanges are allowed within two weeks of the original shopping date. Socks and underwear may not be returned or exchanged for any reason. No appointment is needed to exchange clothing.
Can parents get clothing too?
Clothes To Kids only provides clothing to students grades preschool – 12th grade and people working toward earning their GED (under 21 years old). Parents may shop for themselves if they meet these requirements.
How often can students shop?
Eligible students may shop every four months and must have an appointment each time they visit. Clothes To Kids is open year-round.
Where does your clothing come from?
Most of our clothing is donated from families who have kids that have grown out of their clothing. Many organizations, churches, schools and corporations help stock our store with clothing drives and through our Apparel Partners, who provide new clothing. We purchase or seek donations of new socks and underwear. Learn more about donating clothing.
