Your Clothing and Shoe Donations Help Kids in Need!
Holiday Closure
Please note that we will be closed December 22, 2024 through January 6, 2025 for a holiday break and our annual inventory count. To allow time for us to process donations before our closure, Saturday December 14, 2024 will be the last day to make a clothing donation in 2024. While we are closed, we will be unable to accept your clothing donations. This is the only time of year that we stop accepting donations, so we hope that you will save them for us until we resume taking donations on Tuesday January 7, 2025. Thank you for your support!
The reason we can help as many families as we do is because of the regular clothing donations from the community that fill our store. When we have a steady stream of donations coming in, we can serve more students. When you donate your clothing to CTKD, those items go directly to students in need or in crisis free of charge. We are always in need of individual clothing donations. Please remember that all donated clothing should be:
- New or gently used (Would you give it to a friend?)
- Clean and ready-to-wear (Recently washed with no stains, holes or broken zippers.)
- Current styles (Appealing to kids, pre-teens, teens and young adults.)
- Age appropriate for youth and teens (Suitable for school.)
- Size 4T and larger (No baby and toddler sizes, please!)
For a list of items we accept and our greatest needs, please download our Donation Guidelines.
If you have baby clothing (sizes 3T and smaller) or baby gear, please consider donating to one of our wonderful partner agencies including WeeCycle, There With Care, GIVE Denver or Florence Crittenton Services.
How To Give
Please note that we accept clothing and shoe donations Tuesday – Saturday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Donating is easy:
- Save time at drop off by pre-sorting your donations into Boys, Girls (ages 4-12), Teen Boy, Teen Girl (ages 13-21 and any adult sizes), Shoes and Extras (books, games, toys, accessories, etc.).
- Place your donations into the appropriate rolling bin. Bins will be located outside of our door.
