A heartfelt thank you to YOU – our generous donors – for helping Clothes To Kids of Denver exceed its goal and raise $30,930 on Colorado Gives Day. This funding will be put to work immediately to help thousands of deserving students in our community feel comfortable, confident and ready to thrive. In fact, we just gave away our 7,500th wardrobe of 2016!
Your contributions allow Clothes To Kids to provide a great selection of clothing and shoes, as well as a fun shopping experience for the students we serve. Your belief in our mission is what makes the work of Clothes To Kids possible.
Every kid deserves a warm coat, shoes that fit and clothing that helps them feel great. That’s why we are asking you to help us raise $30,000 in support of our mission by donating on Colorado Gives Day, December 6, 2016. Clothes To Kids offers students in need a fun, dignified shopping experience unlike any other available in the Denver Metro Area. We count on the support of our donors to make sure every student leaves our boutique feeling comfortable, confident and prepared to thrive. Thank you for your support!
Want to give right now? You can pre-schedule your donation for December 6th today(you will be asked to create a basic profile on the website). CTKD will benefit from the incentive fund and you won’t have to worry about remembering to donate on 12/6.
The Colorado Gives Day $1 Million Incentive Fund will increase the value of every dollar donated. Simply put, the more you donate the more we will receive from this special “bonus” fund.
More than 420 guests helped us celebrate the Second Annual Blue Jean Bash on September 10, 2016, at the EXDO Event Center. Thanks to our sponsors, silent auction donors, and live auction donors, we raised $145,000 for Clothes To Kids of Denver.
Our honorary event chairs, Governor John W. Hickenlooper and First Lady Robin P. Hickenlooper, helped to make the evening a huge success. Robin served as our keynote speaker and gave an inspiring presentation. And to top it off, the Governor autographed a copy of his memoir, The Opposite of Woe: My Life in Beer and Politics, which sold to the highest bidder for $1,500!
Our wonderful event co-chairs, Joyce Meyers and Jo Ann Wickens (pictured above), and our fabulous Blue Jean Bash planning committee worked hard to create a memorable evening for our guests.
Special thanks to Cathy Huttner (pictured above with her daughter, Hannah) for single handedly acquiring more than $10,000 worth of items for our silent auction. Wow!
