JOB POSTING: Program Assistant (Temporary/Seasonal)
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and retrieve/respond to voicemail messages
- Make appointments for families and students seeking school clothing
- Enter client shopping information into database
- Assist clients with check in and shopping, as needed
- Process incoming donations (sorting, tagging, hanging, folding, restocking, organizing, etc.), as needed
- Assist fellow staff members in maintaining a clean, organized and visually appealing boutique
- Greet and give donors/visitors/potential volunteers tours as scheduled and/or requested
- Receive clothing donations and provide donation receipt
- Interact with shoppers, visitors and volunteers in a courteous and professional way
- Provide a consistently high level of customer service to all clients, visitors and donors
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
- Commitment to CTKD values
- Pleasant, polite and enthusiastic manner with volunteers and clients
- Strong organizational, communication and phone skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with basic data entry
- Customer service training/experience
